Water Quality Detector Product Description:
Chlorine Test – Adjustment Point:Before the first use, please adjust the tester for the swimming pool water or hot spring water to be tested in the following order:1. Test swimming pool water or hot spring water using traditional liquid testing tools;2. Record the chlorine reading for standby (1.5PPM);3. There is no need to adjust the PH.
Finding the tester's adjustment point:A. Place an AA 1.5 V battery (positive side up) in the battery compartment of the handle.B. Hold the tester in one hand and the test stick in the other.C. Insert the cleaned metal rod into the water to a black position.D. Use a metal rod to gently stir the water.E. When the metal rod remains in the water, adjust the knob on the front of the watch to the CL direction so that it cannot move. Then slowly back right until the pointer points to the position of the result measured by the traditional liquid test toolF. Remove the test stick from the water, being careful not to move the knob. The pointer will slide to the right, stopping between A and E. This letter is the adjustment point.
Please note: Before each test of chlorine, the watch must be adjusted to the “adjustment point.”
Test chlorine content:Recommended chlorine content for swimming or hot spring water is 1.2 to 1.7ppm1. Turn the pointer to the “adjustment point” position.2. Hold the tester in one hand and the test stick in the other. Insert the metal rod into the water to the black position. Wait until the pointer stops swinging before reading.3, let the test stick stay in the water, continue to follow the instructions for pH testing.
Test pH:Recommended chlorine content for swimming or hot spring water is 7.2 to 7.81. With the test stick in the water, turn the knob in the pH direction until it clicks (the battery must be removed when reading the pH value).2. Wait until the pointer has stopped swinging before performing a pH reading.3. Gently dry the test stick and store it in the slot next to the tester.
Storage method: To extend the life of the swimming pool tester PC-101 and ensure accurate measurements,
Please note:1. When not in use, turn the knob to the OFF position (adjust it to the PH direction so that it can no longer be moved).2, put in a cool, dry place, avoid direct sunlight.3. Do not immerse the test stick in other liquids other than swimming pool water and hot spring water.4. Regularly check for sufficient battery level – This tester uses an “AA” 1.5 V alkaline battery
